What To Look For in the Upcoming Season....

Well, I made it through the first 8 weeks of the season this year and unfortunately my writings had come to an abrupt halt soon after the Halloween weekend. The reason you ask? I lost my motivation, my muse, my inspiration. Yes, us Fantasy Football bloggers have muses. Don't know what a muse is? Well, I could tell you, but I think it would be more fun if you searched for it in the dictionary. Or Google. Yeah, probably Google. The good news is, I am re-energized, re-focused and though my muse is still around, I still am motivated to continue this fine blog and give you the best Fantasy advice I can give!

I would like to thank those of you who continued to read my blog week after week and of course my loyal followers. I hope to have a larger following next season and will have much more to add.

The 2009 Fantasy Football season brought about many surprises. Who knew Chris Johnson would break records especially playing for a team that started the season 0-6? The Saints at 13-3 and #1 seed in the playoffs? Playoffs? Playoffs? You wanna talk about playoffs? Why did Jim Caldwell bench Peyton Manning when they had a shot at the perfect season? Tom Cable punched out one of his coaches. Chris Henry dies after falling out of the back of a pickup truck during a domestic dispute. Cedric Benson does not receive any DUI's and is one of the NFL's leading rushers. Plaxico, oh Plaxico. Yep. Still in prison.

Congrats to those of you who made a deep playoff run in your Fantasy League, won your League's Super Bowl or perhaps won a Pick 'Em League. If my advice helped out in any way, I will offer up a "you're welcome!"

As the NFL season culminates, I advise you to prepare for the upcoming season by doing what is necessary. Drink lots of beer, eat pizza and wings and dwell on last season because when the 2010 season begins, you won't remember what happened in 2009. And this is where BTM Fantasy Football comes to your rescue!

We will help you prepare for the upcoming season by giving you draft day advice, season statistics, predictions on who will have a breakout season....everything you need to know to have a successful Fantasy Football team. I cannot guarantee a championship, but we here at BTM Fantasy Football will do everything we can to give you the tools and resources needed to be successful! Keep an eye out for our website, which should be up and running before the 2010 NFL season begins.

Also, as I continue to become an even more educated football fan, I invite you to pick my brain weekly or even daily! 1. I'm still beyond pissed at the Colts for weeks 16 and 17. What the crap is the point in playing a game if you aren't in it to win it? GRR!

The wildcard weekend was great! I feel bad that the Ravens are going to get their butts handed to them this weekend, but it was SWEET watching New England melt down. And the Arizona/Green Bay game? Loved it!

  2. What they did can be argued from both sides....do we rest Peyton to keep him injury free? Or do we play him, putting him at risk for an injury that could potentially hurt his playoff status, and go for the perfect season? I guess it depends on what side you take and what is more important.

The Arizona vs. Green Bay game was amazing. If the Arizona defense plays against the Saints like they did against the Packers, they will be watching the rest of the playoffs from home. Too many mental mistakes and coverage breakdowns. Other than that, the game was unbelievable. I thought that both teams had the potential to score 70 points or more the way they were scoring at will!

This upcoming weekend will be exciting. Lots of offense is to be expected!
